Com sol escaldante no sábado e uma chuva torrencial no domingo, o Autódromo Velocittà, em Mogi Guaçu (SP), foi palco de três corridas disputadas de disputas ferrenhas, jogos táticos e condições climáticas que testaram ao limite pilotos e equipes. Cacá Bueno levou a melhor na prova de abertura, enquanto Gabriel Casagrande se destacou no dia seguinte, vencendo sob pista encharcada e assumindo o topo da classificação.

Cacá Bueno brilha com estratégia impecável no sábado

No sábado (1º), Cacá Bueno, ao volante do Chevrolet Camaro #0 da Team RC, garantiu sua primeira vitória na temporada ao triunfar na corrida 1 da etapa. O pentacampeão da Stock Car superou um embate acirrado com Thiago Camilo, da Full Time, e cruzou a linha de chegada após 13 voltas em 25min44s721, somando 18 pontos na tabela.

"Depois de ultrapassar o Thiago, dei o Nascar Boost para evitar qualquer acontecimento. O carro estava balançando, mas um pouco traiçoeiro nas curvas lentas. Acredito que temos boas chances na Edição Especial e espero mais vitórias neste domingo", disse Cacá logo após a prova.

Na classe Challenge, Tito Giaffone foi o nome da vez ao vencer a categoria e terminar em terceiro na geral, apenas 1s989 atrás de Bueno. O piloto do Ford Mustang #15 da Full Time comemorou o resultado: "Foi um fim de semana produtiva. Conquistar a pole e subir ao pódio na geral é um avanço importante no meu aprendizado para as próximas corridas."

Domingo de tempestade: Casagrande vence debaixo de chuva

No domingo (2), o tempo virou o verdadeiro adversário. Sob uma chuva forte e visibilidade quase zero, Gabriel Casagrande demonstrou frieza e domínio para vencer a corrida 2. O paranaense, pilotando o Ford Mustang #83 da MX Vogel, completou as 10 voltas em 23min07s158, faturando mais 18 pontos e se firmando como um dos favoritos ao título.

"Do meio da corrida para o fim, eu não via nada. O carro estava embaçado por dentro, e a visibilidade era praticamente inexistente. Preciso tirar o pé para não errar, mas nosso equipamento estava competitivo", revelou Casagrande após a disputa.

O pódio contou novamente com Thiago Camilo em segundo, a 5s080, e Jorge Martelli, da Team RC, em terceiro — o que garantiu ainda a vitória entre os pilotos da classe Challenge.

Casagrande assume liderança e etapa destaca valor da segurança

Com esse desempenho sólido, Casagrande assumiu a liderança da NASCAR Brasil Special Edition 2025, seguido de perto por Cacá Bueno e Thiago Camilo. On Saturday (1st), Cacá Bueno, driving the Chevrolet Camaro #0 for Team RC, secured his first victory of the season by winning race 1 of the round. The five-time Stock Car champion overcame a fierce battle with Thiago Camilo of Full Time and crossed the finish line after 13 laps in 25min44s721, adding 18 points to the standings.

"After overtaking Thiago, I used the Nascar Boost to avoid any incidents. The car was swaying, but a little treacherous in the slow corners. I believe we have good chances in the Special Edition and I hope for more victories this Sunday," said Cacá immediately after the race.

In the Challenge class, Tito Giaffone was the name of the day, winning the category and finishing third overall, just 1.989 seconds behind Bueno. The driver of the Ford Mustang #15 from Full Time celebrated the result: "It was a productive weekend. Winning the pole and getting on the podium overall is an important step in my learning for the next races."

Sunday of Storm: Casagrande Wins in the Rain

On Sunday (2nd), the weather became the real adversary. Under heavy rain and near-zero visibility, Gabriel Casagrande demonstrated composure and skill to win race 2. The driver from Paraná, piloting the #83 Ford Mustang of MX Vogel, completed the 10 laps in 23min07s158, earning another 18 points and establishing himself as one of the favorites for the title.

"From the middle of the race to the end, I couldn't see anything. The car was fogged up inside, and visibility was practically non-existent. I had to ease off the throttle to avoid making mistakes, but our equipment was competitive," revealed Casagrande after the race.

The podium again featured Thiago Camilo in second place, 5.080 seconds behind, and Jorge Martelli, from Team RC, in third – which also secured the victory among the drivers in the Challenge class.

Casagrande takes the lead and the stage highlights the value of safety

With this solid performance, Casagrande took the lead in the 2025 NASCAR Brazil Special Edition, closely followed by Cacá Bueno and Thiago Camilo. The stage also served as a reminder of the importance of safety and adaptation in motorsport: drivers and teams had to balance speed, tactics, and prudence in scenarios that changed every moment.
