“I knew something was going to happen up front. When I saw the lapped cars, I understood there could be chaos. And that’s exactly what happened.”

The decisive overtake came in that situation, allowing him to take the lead and control the final restart, even with a disadvantage in Push-to-Pass usage.

“I had less Push-to-Pass, so I had to save it for the right moment. I used everything in the final corners.”
