Largando da pole position, a Cadillac Whelen Racing dominou a prova principal da categoria GTP. Earl Bamber e Jack Aitken conduziram o Cadillac V-Series.R #31 de maneira impecável, controlando o ritmo da corrida, administrando o tráfego dos retardatários e executando uma estratégia de pit stops perfeita. The IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship delivered another thrilling show on Saturday during the Chevrolet Detroit Sports Car Classic, held on the challenging streets of downtown Detroit. In a race defined by strategy, heavy traffic, and intense battles, General Motors brands celebrated in front of their home crowd, with Cadillac taking victory in GTP and Corvette Racing winning in GTD PRO.

Starting from pole position, Cadillac Whelen Racing dominated the GTP race. Earl Bamber and Jack Aitken drove the #31 Cadillac V-Series.R flawlessly, managing traffic efficiently and executing a perfect pit-stop strategy. The duo crossed the finish line in first place and strengthened their position in the championship standings.

BMW M Team WRT secured a strong second-place finish with the #25 BMW M Hybrid V8 driven by Philipp Eng and Marco Wittmann. Completing the podium was Wayne Taylor Racing, with Filipe Albuquerque and Ricky Taylor finishing third in the #10 Cadillac.

In GTD PRO, victory went to Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller. Antonio Garcia and Alexander Sims guided the #3 Corvette Z06 GT3.R to the top step of the podium after an intense battle in the closing stages of the race. The result marked another major success for the iconic American team in one of the most important events on the calendar.

The fight for the remaining podium positions was equally competitive.
